\nStarting at 1:30 p.m., participants to a 30 minutes training session will be able to create pinhole images using their digital camera. They will walk through Vanier to capture images using long exposure times, while benefiting from the support of two professional regional photographers,\u00a0Alex Leblanc<\/strong> and Andr\u00e9 Paquin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nCentre d\u2019artistes Voix Visuelle is proud to present Le sort de l\u2019\u0153uvre mutil\u00e9e<\/em>, a training workshop by Ma\u00eetre Isabelle Regout, <\/strong> a member of the Quebec Bar for 14 years and a professional artist. With this workshop, Ma\u00eetre Regout wants to share her knowledge on intellectual property with the arts community professionals.<\/p>\n

Participants will learn more about intellectual property (copyrights, commercial secrets, trademarks) and about the impacts of copyrights violation which, in turn, should help them better manage their artistic career.<\/p>\n

\nThe artist has many legitimate reasons to protect their work: the recognition of its paternity, the desire to not be copied, to be remunerated, even to reserve the manufacturing process.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/span>This workshop was an exchange between 4 professional artists and 4 high school students. The students taught the basics of the program Photoshop to the artists, and the artists helped the students to improve their compositional skills and to enrich the message contained in their work. See our <\/span>blog<\/a> for some of the resulting images.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nGood lighting being the key to all good images, the Centre d\u2019artistes Voix Visuelle offers a workshop in studio lighting. This workshop of two sessions of two hours each permits the participants to become acquainted with the different pieces of equipment, to learn to calculate exposures, and to create portraits, still-life, and photo set-ups of a professional quality.
