Transformations<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Since the beginning of time, everything changes. Nature revolves around four seasons, our bodies evolve, but according to a series of preordained changes. What threshold marks the frontier between what is ephemeral and what is perpetual? What about predictable cycles of change and those which happen without warning? Are all these transformations welcomed or unavoidable?<\/p>\n Our relationship to time is changing. Some transformations are slow, imperceptible, subtle, and embedded in a very long period of time; suspended time, longer than that of humanity. Our relationship to space is changing. Work environments are transforming: they are evolving from fixed physical environments to virtual spaces, influenced by technology since the advent of digital. Transforming through the action of exogenous (external) forces or changing through endogenous (internal) forces, would it not be a characteristic of the living and of the importance of the dynamism of subject\/environment interactions? \nOther transformations are swift, provoked, desired, and expected. They respond to the imperative of present time, and even more so to the acceleration of this time. There is also the sudden or gradual transformation of beauty into ugliness. Conversely, the ugly, which is normally repulsive, becomes attractive through alchemical processes and algorithms, to reach the status of sublime beauty.<\/p>\n
\nThe connection between biology and computer science is forming before our eyes through digital environments and advances… Viruses are mutating, we are surrounded by genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and our genome is now known and manipulated. We have fun imagining and anticipating the shapes of the future.<\/p>\n

\nWho are the organizers of the International Digital Miniprint Exhibition<\/em>?<\/strong>
\nThis exhibition is organized by Le Centre d\u2019artistes Voix Visuelle located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to fr.wikipedia, the designation \u201cestampe num\u00e9rique\u201d (digital print) refers to works where the computer is the principal design tool, used to create a matrix of digital data. A digital printer, generally ink jet, is then used to print the matrix on various media.<\/p>\n
\nThe image must not be bigger than 20 cm by 25 cm or 25 cm by 20 cm (8 in x 10 in or 10 in x 8 in).<\/p>\n
